Hello everyone!
As 2023 draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to go over some of the changes and improvements to our platform over the last 12 months.
Over the year, across all organizations, Minnit has processed, on average, over one hundred messages per second, totaling tens of millions sent over the course of the year. We also saw tens of thousands of new chatrooms created, hundreds of thousands of registered users (not counting guests/unregistered), and countless moments that made users feel more connected or more engaged.
You’ve definitely had a great year with our service, and we’ve had a great year improving it. 2023 also saw a new chatroom design, the revamp & redesign of our emoji, support for push notifications, support for email notifications, support for webhooks, a redesigned WordPress plugin, better method for sending GIFs (and more accessible ways to view GIFs), improvements to our API, as well as a variety of other minor changes we’ve posted over the years on social media. To all who have given us suggestions and feedback, thank you! Your continued support and interest in improving our service is always appreciated.
We have more exciting things to share in 2024 to keep making Minnit better, as a chatting platform and beyond. As always, we’ll post on Facebook and X (formerly Twitter), but we are also now on Threads and Bluesky.
