To kick off the new year, we have released an update that brings along support for Zero-click SSO to Organizations. This is a solution to authenticate users in the chatroom entirely via your site’s backend, whether they’ve previously registered or not.
While Minnit Chat has supported both OAuth2 and SAML2 since the launch of Organizations, many Owners have asked for a smoother solution that’s both easier to implement, and easier for users to login. The new custom SSO will allow users to instantly connect to the chat and be signed in to the account that matches your site, all without them having to do a thing. This will help ensure the flow is as seamless as possible, all while providing the security and reliability of Single Sign-On.

Additionally, if your site is powered by WordPress, you can use version 3.1.0 or later of our WordPress plugin to instantly get full support for zero-click SSO.
