We’re happy to announce that our new feature, voice messages is now available.
This feature is available on all plans, including the Free plan.
Chat owners can restrict the setting by rank, so you can restrict who can upload voice messages if you prefer.
Chat owners can now enable voice messages here — this is turned off by default for all existing chatrooms.
Clicking on the voice message in the chat will bring up an in-line audio player so you can listen to the message.
Please note that if you’ve embedded your chat using the <iframe> tag, you’ll need to update your embed code to add allow="microphone" in order for this feature to work.
Chatrooms embedded using the <script> tag will continue to work.
If you’re not sure which embed code you are using, you can regenerate your embed code and replace it on your website.
