Hello everyone.
Today, we have released new ways to upgrade your chatroom or Organization.
The first new way is via a new payment tier between “Free” & “Basic”, dubbed “Lite”. The Lite plan is immediately available to be upgraded to using minnit.chat/pricing.
The plan allows you to have up to 100 users, as well as a few other features, such as vanity subdomains, custom domains, custom emoji, more ranked users, longer message lifespans, and the ability for you and your users to upload any file type.
The second major change is the ability for users to help contribute to boost your chatroom up a payment tier, by each pitching in as little as $5USD/month. We’re calling this feature, appropriately enough, “Boosting”.
Boosts will show in the chat, with a progress bar to show how close you are to the next tier:
If users are interested in Boosting, they can open the menu icon from the chat and select “Manage Boosts”. On this page, they will be able to see just how close you are to the next tier, and contribute any amount they desire. As a thank you to Boosting, they’ll immediately get access to an animated rocket rank shape, an indicator when their name is clicked showing them as a Booster, and the ability to always connect to the chat, even if it’s full; for instance, if your chatroom only allows up to 10 users, a Booster can join as an 11th user.
We believe these changes will help you and your users enjoy Minnit’s premium offerings, even if you, as the owner, are unable to upgrade directly.
And, to help you encourage your users to contribute, we’re offering a coupon code for 25% off the first month of Boosts, using coupon code FIRSTBOOST during the checkout procedure. Be sure to pass this along to users before they decide whether they want to contribute Boosts. The coupon is valid until June 25th, 2022.
