Today, we are pleased to announce that Stickers are coming to Minnit Chat. Stickers are able to be set up by the Owner of the chatroom via the “Chat Settings” menu — look for “Emoji & Stickers” to find the new settings.
Stickers make it easy for Owners to set up one-click reactions, funny GIFs, and more. Stickers will appear large in the chat, and cannot be combined with any other message content, such as uploads, text, etc.
CSS wizards: You can resize stickers by targeting the .minnit-sticker class. Current defaults are a max-width and max-height of 175px. Use this to make stickers larger or smaller as desired.
Additionally, users who are Boosting your chatroom or Organization are now able to set their own emoji & stickers. Users will be able to set 1 emoji or sticker for each Boost they’re providing. These emoji or stickers will only work for them, and will not count to your chatroom’s existing plan.
This is a great way to encourage users to contribute to upgrading your chat, by offering them additional personalization of their messages.
These new features are available right away in the chat. Simply click the Emoji icon above the text box to see the options and learn more.
